Thank you for choosing Kingbullbike.com. We are committed to providing high-quality products and reliable customer service. To give you added confidence in your purchase, we offer a Limited Warranty ("Warranty") on all eligible products purchased in the U.S. on or after August 7, 2023 ("Products").

This Warranty is provided at no additional cost by Kingbull Electric Bikes and is intended as an extra benefit, separate from and in addition to your statutory consumer rights, which may vary by state.

We recommend that you carefully review the user manual before your first ride, as it includes important safety, assembly, usage, and maintenance information. For better service and support, you may also register your bike at www.kingbullbike.com, although registration is not required to activate this Warranty.

This Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, in accordance with our published guidelines, for a limited period starting from the original retail purchase date. “Original retail purchase” means the first purchase of the Product from Kingbull or an authorized retailer. Some coverage may be transferable to subsequent owners, subject to the terms of this Warranty.

PRODUCTS COVERED

I. Original Retail Purchaser Warranty:

Kingbull provides the original retail purchaser with a limited 2-year warranty on the frame and eligible electrical components against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Warranty coverage for certain components and accessories may vary, as detailed below.

The following wear-and-tear components are covered under a limited warranty with shorter coverage periods, as listed below.

Charger Internal malfunction preventing charging 6 months
Brake System Hydraulic system failure (excluding normal wear parts) 3 months (excluding brake fluid)
Tires Performance failure or structural damage not caused by normal wear  3 months

Original Defects / DOA Coverage (Within 15 Days)

Within 15 days of receiving your product, Kingbull provides coverage for components that are defective or non-functional upon arrival or that significantly affect normal use.

If Kingbull determines that a repair must be performed at a local repair shop, reimbursement of up to $75 USD may be provided, subject to prior approval and a valid repair invoice. Repair costs incurred without prior authorization or evaluation by Kingbull will not be reimbursed.

Cosmetic issues such as paint, decals, or graphics are not covered under this policy.

II. Subsequent Owner Warranty:

If you are a subsequent owner, meaning you are the second or later owner, and not the original retail purchaser, the following warranties apply:

  1. Kingbull offers warranty coverage for up to two (2) years from the original retail purchase date for who provide the name of the original purchaser and the original order number. Warranty coverage and applicable periods for components are subject to the terms and coverage details listed in the warranty table above.

  2. Kingbull offers warranty service assistance and free technical support for new owners who cannot provide the name and original order number of the original purchaser. However, replacement parts, shipping costs, and repair-related expenses will be the responsibility of the current owner. In such cases, Kingbull will not provide free replacement parts or reimbursement.

Please Note:

  • If your electric bike requires maintenance or repairs, please contact the Kingbull after-sales team for professional support. Please note that unauthorized repairs may void the warranty, and Kingbull will no longer be able to provide warranty service.

  • Our warranties do not cover damage resulting from accidents, improper use, modifications, or failure to follow maintenance guidelines provided in the user manual.

  • Warranty claims should be initiated by contacting our customer service team and providing proof of purchase (order number or receipt).

  • Battery evaluation and detection of battery problems are only supported by Kingbull or Kingbull Authorized Marketers.

SUBSEQUENT OWNER CONDITIONS

Yes. The warranty period is always calculated from the date of original retail purchase and Kingbull needs to be able to determine when and where the Product was purchased originally. Proof of purchase should be obtained from the original owner or the Authorized Kingbull Retailer who sold the Product.

  

TERMS OF WARRANTY

1. Proof of Purchase: To avail yourself of this Warranty, you must present a dated proof of the original retail purchase to Kingbull. This requirement applies to both the original retail purchaser and subsequent owners. We kindly request you to retain and provide this proof of purchase when seeking warranty service.

2. Warranty Limitation: Kingbull reserves the right to limit warranty service to the country where the Product was originally purchased. Warranty claims will be processed according to the applicable warranty policies of the respective country.

3. Warranty Coverage: During the duration of the Warranty, Kingbull will provide one of the following options:

  • Repair: We will repair the Product to restore it to its original functionality.
  • Replacement: At Kingbull’s sole discretion, we may offer a replacement with the same or a comparable Product. Due to inventory constraints, the exact replacement part or color may not always be available.
  • Refund: If the Product cannot be reasonably repaired or replaced, Kingbull may, at its sole discretion, issue a refund. Any refund will be calculated on a pro-rated basis, considering the original purchase price, period of use, and remaining warranty coverage. The amount will reflect depreciation due to usage, wear and tear, and time in service. Kingbull reserves the right to determine the final refund amount based on product condition and available usage-related information.

4. Return of Product for Replacement: If the Product is replaced, it is required to be returned to Kingbull before the replacement is provided, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by Kingbull. Rest assured, you will not incur any charges for shipping the Product to Kingbull or for receiving the replacement product during the warranty process.

 

UNCOVERED ITEMS

This Warranty is void under the following circumstances and does not apply to damage caused by any of the following occurrences:

  • Improper Assembly or Installation: The Warranty does not cover damage or issues resulting from improper assembly or installation of the Product. We strongly recommend following the assembly instructions provided with the Product or seeking professional assistance to ensure proper setup.

  • Crash, Neglect, Improper Repair, or Misuse: Damage caused by crashes, neglect, improper repair, or any form of abnormal, excessive, or improper use is not covered by the Warranty.

  • Corrosion: The Warranty does not cover damage caused by corrosion. Regular maintenance and care of the Product can help prevent corrosion and ensure its longevity.

  • Improper Alteration or Installation of Components: Any damage resulting from the improper alteration or installation of components, parts, or accessories not originally intended for or compatible with the Product is not covered by the Warranty.

  • Failure to Perform Maintenance as Per Instructions: To keep the Product in optimal condition, regular maintenance and service must be performed at appropriate intervals following the written instructions provided with the Product. Failure to do so may void the Warranty.

WEAR AND TEAR

We want to ensure that you have a comprehensive understanding of our Warranty coverage. Wear and tear, as a natural consequence of regular use, is a common occurrence in bicycles. Please be aware that wear and tear items are not covered by this Warranty. Such items are subject to normal deterioration over time and may require periodic replacement and maintenance to maintain optimal performance.

Definition of Wear and Tear: Wear and tear refers to the natural and inevitable damage that occurs as a result of normal riding and regular exposure to the elements. Despite proper maintenance, certain components will gradually wear out and may need replacement over time.

Examples of Wear and Tear Items: Below is a non-exhaustive list of typical wear and tear items that are not covered by this Warranty:

  • Bearings
  • Brake Pads
  • Chains
  • Free Hub Bodies
  • Handlebar Grips
  • Rubber Moving Parts
  • Shifter and Brake Cables and Casings
  • Spokes
  • Sprockets
  • Stripped Threads/Bolts
  • Tools
  • Transmission Gears
  • Bracket

Paint and Graphics: Additionally, please note that scratches and other potential damage to the paint or graphics of your bicycle, resulting from normal use and exposure to the elements, are considered wear and tear and are not covered by this Warranty.

Minor Creaks and Noises: Over time, your bicycle may develop minor creaks or other noises during riding. Such occurrences are common and usually indicate a need for regular maintenance, which is considered part of wear and tear.

Maintain Optimal Performance: To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your bicycle, we recommend regular inspection, maintenance, and replacement of wear and tear items as necessary.

 

WARRANTY PROCESS INITIATION

The first step is to contact customer experience or an Authorized King Bull Retailer, depending on where the original purchase occurred. Your retailer or representative will inspect the Product and contact you for next steps. Contact your original Authorized King Bull Retailer or if purchased online, email us at customers@kingbullbike.com.

 

SHIPPING DAMAGE COVERAGE

For orders with shipping insurance, please refer to the applicable shipping insurance policy. For orders without shipping insurance, standard shipping damage procedures apply. Kingbull will provide replacement parts for confirmed transit damage in accordance with the conditions below.

Shipping Damage Replacement Process: In the unfortunate event that your product suffers damage during shipping, we have a streamlined replacement process. To qualify for a free replacement, please follow these steps:

  1. Notify King Bull of Damage: Notify King Bull of any damage to the Product incurred during shipping within fifteen (15) days of the date of your receipt of the Product. Prompt notification is crucial to expedite the resolution process.

  2. Provide Pictures and/or Video: Promptly provide King Bull with dated pictures and/or a video showcasing the damaged Product. This documentation will aid us in assessing the extent of the damage.

  3. Return Original Packaging and Paperwork: Please retain and return all original packaging and paperwork that came with the Product. This will help facilitate the replacement process.

  4. Inspect Product Immediately: Inspect the Product immediately upon receipt to identify any damage incurred during shipping. Prompt inspection is vital to determine the shipping damage accurately.

  5. Note Damage on Bill of Lading: If you notice any immediately recognizable damage to the Product upon delivery, please note these damages in clear detail on the shipper's Bill of Lading before signing off on the shipment.

Non-King Bull Shipping Methods: If you choose to use your own independent shipping method, such as a freight forwarder or similar service, please note that King Bull will not be responsible for the replacement of any Products damaged during such shipping methods.

 

DISCLAIMER OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES

This is a full and complete statement of king bull’s warranty for the product. No other representation of any kind by anyone shall create any warranty regarding the product. King bull’s liability under this warranty shall to the fullest extent permitted by law be no greater than the amount of the original purchase price and in no event shall king bull be liable for incidental or consequential damages or losses. This limitation does not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by king bull’s negligence.

To the extent permissible under applicable law, king bull hereby disclaims all implied warranties, including without limitation the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose for the duration of this express limited warranty.

Some states, provinces, or countries do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or warranties, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply. If it is determined by a court of competent jurisdiction that a certain provision of this Warranty does not apply, all other provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
