I bought a ‘cheapy’ offbrand Black Friday e-bike for my younger grandson(because I didn’t want to spend a bunch until he learns to take good care of his things). But ever since, I was thinking about buying myself one. I decided to go with the Kingbull Hunter 2.0S. I was a little worried since I was seeing them advertised mostly on social media, but I purchased directly on their website. When I was deciding on which model I wanted, the site indicated that it would ship within 2 days from their CA warehouse, and actual shipping would be 5-7 days (If I remember correctly ). Three days after ordering, when I hadn’t gotten tracking info, I reached out to their support. (I say all this because of the excellent responsiveness from them). They responded over night and let me know that my bike was preorder, and would ship in about another week. They apologized for the preorder status not being clearer on the website, promised to fix that, and the very next day, the site was much clearer about the models that are 2 day ship vs preorder. Now THAT’S follow through! I had to leave to go out of town and the bike was likely going to arrive while I was gone. So I reached out again, and again I got a response within 24 hrs, they updated my ship to address so I could have it delivered where I was visiting for two weeks. In total, asking various questions, I sent them 4 or 5 messages. Each was answered within 24 hours and they were very helpful. So first…their support is GREAT. The bike arrived a day later than the FedEx estimated date but that was all on Fed Ex, it sat in NC for two days only moving about 90 miles during that time. Now for the bike review! It came very well packaged/protected and mostly assembled. I had to put on the front tire, fender, headlight, handlebars and pedals. It needed no adjustment of the preassembled portion, and as soon as the battery was fully charged it was ready to ride. I do wish the handlebars could be raised (but it’s not a deal breaker and I’d still choose this model). I’m slightly over 6ft tall and it’s very comfortable for my height. I also wish the seat was a little softer, but that’s because I’m old with a bony butt, lol. Again not a deal breaker, I’ve had regular bikes with much harder seats. This bike is heavy (a lot of that is the battery) , but it feels super sturdy and seems to be very well made. Solid, great welds and paint job. I’m very pleased with the quality and support! My older grandson wants an e-bike now and I think I’ll be buying him the Kingbull Ranger for Christmas. Happy customer!! Thanks Kingbull team!
