Sipping and packaging and alignment of derailer to crank

I think the shipping and packaging were pretty good overall. I have noticed when I apply significant pedal load /input there is a propensity for the chain to pop off the gear out feet crossed on the chain ring. Not sure if this is a function of shipping and packaging (damaged alignment) or just poor alignment coming from the factory or maybe cheaper components around the crank. Must be one of the three.
